JIGSAW AVIATION
Jigsaw Aviation, based at Sleap Airfield in Shropshire operate an Aviat Husky A-1B-160 (Husky Pup). G-ROVA (affectionately known as Rova) is the perfect aircraft for tailwheel training.
It has a Lycoming 160HP engine, a fixed pitch propeller and no flaps, making it easy and economical to operate while at the same time, training pilots in all the required skills before they step up to flying the 180HP or 200HP versions of the Husky.
There is a growing list of local pilots who have now completed their tailwheel conversion training in this beautiful aircraft and you can read about their experiences in “Husky Pilots Corner”.
Tailwheel training is available from Sleap Airfield in this aircraft and is a fun and exciting way to expand your piloting skills.
Peter Gaskell (Director of Jigsaw Aviation) says that they chose the Husky Pup because they believe it is the best tailwheel trainer available to fulfill this role.
With highly experienced instructors they can take your flying to the next level.
